In Rufoli (Sa) the history of the furnaces is intertwined with that of the city. Yet today the only furnaces still active are the brothers Luigi, Thomas, Antonio and Carlo De Martino. The De Martino Factory is a small village of brick factories where the workers follow the traces of a millenary ritual. Each tile is shaped and worked with the same tools of the trade that Diderot and D'Alembert Encyclopedie describe.
IL LABORATORIO DI NOLA
The Laboratorio was founded in Nola (Naples) in 1978 by Vittorio Avella and Antonio Sgambati. Following their experiences in Paris and Bergamo, they returned to Naples to develop the idea of "Artistic Printing and Books" in southern Italy. Over the years Il Laboratorio has become a point of reference for interested in the debates about engraving techniques, and a place where research, trials and production are carried out on a national and an international basis. Etching, aquatint, dry point, mixed techniques, serigraphies and every other process of manual printing has allowed artists with different sensibilities and levels of experience to freely express themselves.

LABORATORIO CERAMICO TATÀ
The Tatà ceramic laboratory was born in 2001 from a project of the former Salerno major Vincenzo De Luca. Its project is to give chance to some selected artisans to redefine the city's ceramic tradition, which assimilated to the Vietri's tradition through the years. The laboratory is based on the essential elements of ceramic craft: it has chosen to use clay from Ogliara, a Salerno's division that since 1700 supplied the neapolitan laboratories of pictorial decoration with "riggiole" (tiles) and decided to use enamels produced by local firms. The opportunity to develop within the next years is granted by involvement of some young artists.

The laboratory has born in Rome in 1994 and has the aim to introduce the mosaic as an artistic language, as a component of furniture and design, based on classical and contemporary themes. It plans and realizes mosaics on own inspiration and own original inspiration and artists' and architects' drawings are behind planning and creation of the mosaics, using them as ornamental coating element for surfaces like floors, bathrooms and so on, a real design and furniture article. To realize mosaics the Laboratory uses marble tesserae and natural stones, vitreous paste and enamels and ceramic tesserae, and for the installation makes use both of traditional materials and contemporary ecologic materials and techniques.
OFFICINE MANGANIELLO
The events of the Officine Manganiello date back about 150 years ago when the great-grandfathers of the current owners started the business as a blacksmith between Nola and Afragola, in the northern area of Naples. The postwar period, the company has joined the working strictly to those craft-like industrial, in the constant search for improvement in quality. Since the 90s, the Workshops have been employed continuously to the completion of works, metal temporary installations and museum. The quality of the work and the attention paid in each project can now boast of the Officine Manganiello Quality Certification ISO 9002.

The ancient Santella factory has been estabilished in 1904 and it's specialized in manufacturing and producing grit floors. At almost a hundred years since its foundation, thanks to the excellent quality and to the accuracy in manifacture, the company is a leader in its sector. Founded in 1972, the Tulino CTM produces manufactures stainless steel on contract basis, offering its services to industries of national and international importance. The renewal of the fleet, lathes, machining centers, CNC milling and familiarity with 3D design has enabled the company to expand the supply of services and manufactured goods also in the field complements architecture (balustrades, staircases, handrails, crash barriers, gates), as well as for industry, construction companies and architecture.
