The meeting of Chung Eun-Mo with the Factory of the Arts is an important meeting. The geometry and depth of Eun-Mo are accompanied by a softness in the selection of unusual shapes and colors that, starting from the primary colors, borrow natural colors. His works reveal a knowledge of oil paintings and Italian Korean architecture. She often expressed this knowledge in the early '80s, in a search of three-dimensional shapes through very interesting. His extraordinary discipline renew the geometric abstraction evoking real and imaginary spaces through layers of colors, shapes and shades of light. From the beginning, an important meeting of his work was with the manufacture of Cotto Rufoli at Ogliara. The dark colors of his paintings are almost a natural correspondence in experiments with pigments of handmade terracotta. In The Factory of the Arts, it often happens that projects were realized through dialogue and knowledge of the potential of the materials.Works with the floors and tables: some reproduce the work of Chung Eun-Mo in the colors of terracotta, in other cases, there is a need to reproduce the painting enamel projects developed in watercolor by the artist. Finally, we present a new model of an handmade terracotta larger size table. In this, a patch of the same material, but in different color, reproduce the painting of the artist. For the realization of the tables, it was important the collaboration of designers Bruno Cimmino and Salvatore Cozzolino that have followed the project, drawing media plans that complement the idea of the work in a harmonious way. To do this, the GMA has been involved for the production of aluminum and officinemanganiello for iron. Santella grains starts, however, its collaboration with the artist creating a work for the floors with the inclusion of a mosaic executed by Federica Castro. The spaces of the Factory of the Arts became, in the last months, a happy yard where Eun-Mo, along with volunteer contributors, has created murals that reinterpret some interiors of exhibition halls with the desire to read, in the language of art, preexisting forms and materials. The exhibition will present the first productions made by Chung Eun-Mo with the brand Factory of Arts and a summary of the projects under study: the murals in baked enamel and painted for a strong signal in an urban aesthetic or glasses that can make us relive the old charm of the Gothic.
