Fabbrica delle Arti is a place in the historical centre of Naples, venue of exhibitions, internships and meetings, an experimental laboratory where artists and designers project and realize with artisans from Campania artistic products and objects. A brand which is born from the search for new languages, between art and design, willing to hold a dialogue and to become well-known in an international context.
Renato Barisani (Napoli, 1918) conducts a rigid and strict abstract research on linguistic codes and materials through sculpture, painting, collage, photography, mosaics, ceramics, jewellery, design. Playing an important role in Gruppo Sud and Gruppo Napoletano Arte Concreta, he also participates in the activities of M.A.C. of Milan, of the Gruppo Espace and the corporate Geometria e Ricerca. From 1978 to 1984 he was Professor of Design at the Accademia di Belle Arti of Naples. In 1993 he was decorated with the Pollock Prize.
